ShopSnap (“the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension that provides users with a summary and analysis of their Myntra orders directly within their own browser. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.

1. Information We Collect

ShopSnap does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or financial information. All data displayed (such as order summaries, spending trends, and product categories) is extracted locally from pages you open on Myntra.com, and remains entirely within your browser.

We do not use any external servers, analytics tools, or databases to process or store user data.

2. How Data is Used

The extension processes Myntra order information purely for the purpose of generating visual summaries and statistics (such as total spending, item categories, and order history trends). All calculations and visualizations are performed locally on your device.

3. Permissions

The extension requests access to:

tabs and activeTab — to read order data from Myntra pages you visit.
storage — to locally save dashboard preferences and last scan timestamps.

These permissions are used solely to provide the core functionality of the extension.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer any information to any third parties.

5. Remote Code Usage

ShopSnap may use open-source UI frameworks (such as React or Tailwind CSS) loaded from trusted CDNs. These are used only for rendering the user interface and do not process any user data.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we make any updates to this Privacy Policy, we will update the “Effective Date” above and publish the revised version at the same URL.
